Tender Description
The Faculty Training Committee (FTC) in Rehabilitation Medicine seeks expressions of interest for an Advanced Trainee Representative.
The Committee oversees the Advanced Training program in General Rehabilitation Medicine. The Committee's key responsibilities include:
- overseeing training
- assess eligibility and approve entry into the training program
- monitor and assess individual trainee progress
- monitor training of, and provide support to supervisors
- assess recognition of prior learning
- monitor and review training program requirements, assessment and curricular
- modify training requirements for individual trainees, as appropriate, in accordance with College policies and procedures
- assess and provide advice on speciality recognition in rehabilitation medicine for Fellows who have not completed the training program
- advise on support and development for trainees
The Committee holds 1 face-to-face meeting in Sydney and 3 video conferences a year.
