Greater Shepparton City Council will be publishing a festival program of events and activities for seniors that will take place across Greater Shepparton during October.
The Seniors Festival is a fantastic opportunity to celebrate the resilience of older adults, reconnect and be involved following COVID-19. This year the festival theme is “keepin on” and we would love to include as many activities and events on the program as possible. If you think your organisation could host a great event for seniors, we want to hear from you!
Get involved
We are now seeking expressions of interest from local clubs, groups and organisations who would like to host an event to showcase their group and provide entertainment for older adults.
Groups and organisations can hold 'come and try' days, craft activities, gardening, exercise programs, in fact - any activity or entertainment that older adult members of the community will enjoy.
Your event will be promoted on our website and in our festival program. This is a great opportunity to make new connections and friendships, all while having fun!
