Tender ID: 464374
Tender Details
Tender Description
This RFQ has been prepared on behalf of the member councils of the Riverina Eastern Regional Council of Councils (“REROC”).
REROC is a voluntary association of eight local government bodies located in the eastern Riverina region of NSW. REROC’s Member Councils are Bland, Coolamon, Cootamundra- Gundagai, Greater Hume, Junee, Lockhart, Temora and Goldenfields Water County Council.
This Resourcing Sharing Project for the Collection and Disposal of NTCRS E-Waste is the result of assessments made by Member Councils regarding the quantity and the possible advantages that can be gained through a regional collection.
It is REROC’s intention to select a Contractor for a one-off Collection and Disposal of NTCRS E-Waste for the Member Councils that have elected to participate in the project. The lowest, or any particular quotation may not be accepted and not all Councils may participate.
The Project calls for a one-off Collection and Disposal of NTCRS E-Waste to each of the Member Councils at their designated collection facility (DCF) as shown in Appendix A. Estimated volumes of E-Waste are also detailed in Appendix A and types of E-Waste collected detailed in Appendix B.
These quantities are an estimate only and will not form part of the contract. REROC and its Member Councils provide no undertaking, guarantee or warranty that they will participate in the final contract or that the NTCRS E-Waste estimates provided will be matched during the life of the contract.
The costs of transporting the E-Waste from each of the Participating Council’s DCF must be included in the Quotation.
Contractors will need to understand the roles to be played by the various parties:
- REROC is the body facilitating and co-ordinating the joint purchasing approach and will be party to the contract and providing the project management for the tender.
- REROC together with the Participating Councils will assess the tenders and make a single recommendation based on the established evaluation criteria and the assessed best result for the Region.
- REROC will enter into a contract with the recommended supplier to provide the service.
- Successful Tenderer (“the Supplier”) will then collect and dispose of the E-Waste at each of the Participating Council’s DCF in accordance with the contract details.
