Tender Description
The Graduate Certificate in Education (Learning Difficulties) (GCE) is a key feature of the Disability Inclusion reform agenda announced by the Victorian Government in November 2020. It responds to the 2015 Program for Students with Disabilities (PSD) Review and other research that identified an opportunity to strengthen the current teaching workforce capability in relation to inclusive teaching practices. The support of students with learning disabilities such as dyslexia and dyscalculia were specifically noted in the PSD Review as an area of need.
The Department is seeking a suitably qualified tertiary education supplier to design and deliver an accredited Graduate Certificate of Education (Learning Difficulties) (GCE) for 300 teachers in Victorian Government schools.
