Bundaberg Regional Council previously purchased 2 Maryborough Street, which was the former Wintergarden Theatre. Prior to Council purchasing the building a renovation had been undertaken to fit the building out for retail, this involved the auditorium being floored across at balcony level. Council now intend to fit the building out as a hub for a number of community organisations.
The successful Consultant is required to undertake stakeholder engagement to update concept designs and prepare preliminary, detailed and for construction designs and documentation for the Community Hub at 2 Maryborough Street. The Consultant is to include cost estimates at each design development milestone. The designs are to be sufficiently developed to incorporate into a traditional construct only tender packages for issue by Council.
