Tender Description

Be part of the Solomon Islands Infrastructure Program (SIIP), an Australian partnership with the Solomon Islands Government, which aims to improve the quality, accessibility, sustainability and inclusivity of economic infrastructure in Solomon Islands. Cardno will implement the Program on behalf of the Australian Government.

The Positions
Cardno is seeking highly motivated and experienced individuals as outlined below to join the SIIP team.

Cardno are seeking Expressions of Interest from suitably experienced applicants for the following office positions:

- Finance Officer - will work under the Finance Manager to maintain financial oversight of the Program’s day-to-day activities. This will involve accounts payable duties, reviewing and verifying invoices for correct authorisation, data entry into accounting systems, organising cheques for payments based on appropriate supporting documentation, and reporting.

- Procurement Officer - will ensure that program funded activities are procured, managed and acquitted in line with the Australian Procurement Guidelines and the program Financial Operations Manual.

- IT Officer – will develop, roll out and manage IT policies and procedures; IT help support, maintenance of equipment, and support to staff through training.

- Security Officer - will manage the security of long- and short-term advisers and locally engaged staff. This will include the development of a program security plan, updated on a regular basis with changes to the operating environment, preparing security and incident reports, and ensuring personnel adhere to security policies and procedures.

- Administration Assistant – will provide administration support to the program through filing, scanning, copying and checking documentation is complete, taking minutes at meetings, supporting workshops and audit activities, and ensuring the team maintains accurate records.

- Driver - will work under the Logistics Officer to provide transport services for advisers and staff, maintain the presentation of vehicles and ensure compliance with security manual in operation of vehicles.
