Transformation and Managed Services

Balranald Shire Council (BSC) invites tenders from suitably skilled and experienced providers to transition their current IT infrastructure (including corporate application hosting and management) from the current incumbent, with the view of improving overall reliability and system performance to end users.

In addition to the above, BSC is looking to move to Office 365 and move corporate applications to a secure Platform-As-A-Service (Microsoft Azure preferred). BSC is also looking to replace their current fleet of PCs/laptops with Surface Pro's (specification required to be specified by the tenderer), to develop a corporate Intranet built upon SharePoint Online, and a corporate website to replace the existing website ( www.balranald.nsw.gov.au ). In addition, BSC is also seeking an IT Strategy that describes the approach and roadmap for IT improvement.

BSC is seeking fixed price proposals to implement the above and to support all IT operations by providing level 1, 2 and 3 support, whilst coordinating level 4 and 5 support with vendors. BSC is seeking to form an agreement for the above for a period of 3 years, with the option to extend (2 years in the first instance and 1 year following this).
