Tender Description
This Tugs and Barges scope involves a number of tugs and barges to transport structures and spools to the Barossa field (offshore), approximately 130° E, 10° S. The items will then be lifted from the barge(s) and deployed subsea by BUYER installation vessel. It is expected that BIDDER will supply one primary towing tug per barge (for transit) and two additional tugs (stern tow tug and ‘hip-up’ tug) to remain in-field to assist with barge handling in proximity to BUYER installation vessel during lifting operations.
The barge requirements and proposed responsibility matrix are summarised in the tables . A total of 10 barge trips are required. It is expected that the same tug & barge vessels utilised for trips C1 & C2 would have time to return to South East Asia and remobilise for trips C4 & C5.
The approximate date range is expected to be from late 2023 to mid-to-late 2024.
