Tender Description
Scope of Work
Including but not limited to the following:
· Detailed setting out of the Site Works and confirmation of site dimensions as required for the installation of the SDU, associated components and the maintenance platform.
- Provision of a sketch of the proposed installation including connecting pipework route for approval prior to the commencement of Site Works
· Clear and grub, top-soil removal and levelling of the area for the installation of the SDU to required dimensions. Clear and grub and top-soil removal to be completed in accordance with Rio Tinto Standard Specification SS-C101
· Installation of the C100 BioMAX SDU’s equipment within the hardstand area as per the manufacturer’s installation manual. Note - a representative from the supplier of the SDU must be on-site to assist with the installation.
· Design, supply and installation of all connecting pipework between the tie-in point to the existing sewer main and the new SDU system. The location shall be chosen to ensure sufficient fall in the inlet pipe between the tie-in point and the new SDU as per AS3500. The supply pipework to the current ATU is assumed to be DN150 ductile iron cement lined pipe.
· Supply and installation of discharge piping from SDU to existing spray fields connections
· Supply of all consumables and bedding materials for the Scope of Works
· Construction verification of the SDU installation to the satisfaction of Rio Tinto
