Monash eSolutions is looking to engage with a skilled Java support vendor to assist with the update/uplift of systems with legacy JAVA versions. We are looking for a professional services provider to review and provide advice on the most appropriate Java upgrade solution for respective app requirements and develop a process to maintain patch levels ongoing across the fleet. This provider will have had to have provided these specific services to Australian Enterprise customers previously.
It is expected that the engineer has a very good understanding of OpenJDK options (not just one flavour), including having performed such migrations before, and an understanding of the best fit uplift solution for various JRE installation types (ie: App packaged vs host installed).
The focus of this is not on discovery, but addressing the various Java installation scenarios and a plan with associated services to uplift them and a process for timely ongoing updates.
