Tender Description
Container Exchange (COEX) are seeking Expressions of Interest from parties wishing to operate Container Refund Points (CRPs) in Wynnum or immediate surrounding areas. We are looking for solutions across all operating models targeting greater convenience and accessibility for the nominated area.
COEX is responsible for managing Queensland’s Container Refund Scheme, Containers for Change, which aims to reduce litter and increase recycling by providing a 10-cent refund for each eligible beverage container returned to a CRP.
The successful applicant will deliver the Containers for Change scheme to residents in the following locations:
• Hemmant
• Lota
• Lytton
• Manly
• Manly West
• Wynnum
• Wynnum West
The catchment suburbs have a combined population greater than 45,000 residents. COEX encourages interested parties to put forward innovative operational, community and social solutions to service this catchment.
If you are interested in making a difference by facilitating recycling and fundraising opportunities in the local community, please submit your completed expression of interest response form below to tenders@containerexchange.com.au by 5pm, Friday 18 June 2021.
Once the EOI is received, respondents are invited to submit a formal application which includes:
• CRP location (s),
• CRP operating models, including any innovative approach to increasing participation & recycling rates,
• relevant experience providing exceptional customer service,
• commercial volume operating proposal, including targeted business type and timelines/programme of work, and
• a police check provided as an attachment to the application.
