Tender Description
Warrnambool City Council is seeking quotations for construction of new footpath linkages on Preston Street and Station Street, Warrnambool.
The Scope of Works is within the detailed design plans (Refer Appendix B).
These works include, but is not limited to, the following:
Construction Management Plan to be issued and approved prior to construction commencing:
- Details of Public Safety, Traffic Control and alternate Pedestrian Access
- Site Security during construction and provision for After Care
- Public Notifications including Letter Drops
- Asset Protection Permit (Dilapidation Report)
- Road Reserve Works Permit
- Construction Program of Works
- Evidence of relevant Council approvals and insurance required to undertake works
Site Management Plan to be issued and approved for construction:
- Traffic Management Plan
- Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS)
- COVID Safe Plan
- Environmental Management Plan (EMP)
- Quality Management Plan (QMP)
- Underground Utilities Protection (Dial B4 Dig)
Construction Implementation:
- Site establishment with Worksafe Site Signage
- Supervision of Works and external Sub-Contractors
- Services detection and location on site
Footpath Linkages Construction:
- Bulk Earthworks and creation of Batters
- Kerb, Pedestrian Crossing and Channel Works
- Footpath Works for Concrete and Granitic Paths
- Fencing Works (Provisional Sum)
- Site Survey for Title Boundary
- Demolition of section of existing fencing and overgrown vegetation at Dennington Recreation Reserve
- Provisional Sum for the Supplier to include within the Quotation is the supply, delivery and installation of the composite fencing on the title boundary of Dennington Recreation Reserve
- If Council nominates to deliver the fencing works, the Supplier shall act as the Head Contractor and enable access for the safe and compliant installation of the works.
Landscaping Works:
- Supply and place minimum 150mm depth topsoil and minimum 100mm Bio M supplied by Bio Grow PL to landscape infill (Planting - Works by others)
- Supply and place minimum 150mm depth topsoil and Rye Grass Seeds with starter fertilisation to any areas affected by works
As Constructed Details:
Submission of A-Spec Format As Built Drawings - Electronic constructed Information submitted through Council portal
Site Reinstatement especially removal of all debris for landscaping
Maintenance warranties and certificates of compliance.
12 month defect maintenance period and warranty for fencing
