Carrathool Road Design & Construct 11.5km

Carrathool Shire Council is calling tenders for the design and construction of 11.5km of pavement upgrade.

The Contract is for the design and construction of 11.5km of new pavement on the Carrathool Road from the intersection of Murrumbidgee River Road/ Carrathool Road.

Works include approx. 3.65km of existing bitumen pavement rehab, the Murrumbidgee River Road/Carrathool Road intersection upgrade, multiple culvert replacements and approx 7.85km of new pavement. The pavement will be a 7m (2-coat) seal width on a pm formation.

The existing 3.65km of pavement will be required to be widened at certain locations as its currently a 6m seal on an 8m formation. Road furniture to be reinstated or in some areas replaced.

The tender documents can be obtained by emailing council@carrathool.nsw.gov.au between 8:30am to 4:15PM weekdays.

Tenders must be submitted in accordance with the tender lodgment requirements contained in the tender package and be received by Council in full prior to 12 Noon Friday 9 July 2021.
