⁠⁠⁠As the NDIA is growing to meet the needs of the Australian population, the NDIA requires comprehensive IT systems to support the day to day running of the organisation.

The Applications Platforms Directorate is responsible for scoping, designing, delivering and maintaining high quality IT systems and applications to support the entire agency and our partner organisations to deliver the National Disability Insurance Scheme to our participants every day.

As the Assistant Director of Quality Assurance, you will lead ICT in an enterprise testing strategy and the deliver and manage automated testing frameworks across the environment. You will provide your expert knowledge in test management frameworks and quality assurance models to improve the agencies testing capabilities.

A passion for quality and automation will drive your success within this role, with a significant focus on mentoring and supporting other delivery teams to ensure that ICT solutions are of the highest quality.

Duties
• Design, advise and implement end to end testing & quality assurance processes and workflows,
• Provide advice on testing methodologies and implement across work area,
• Design, advise and implement standards and ensure adherence to agreed standards and good practices,
• Deliver and support for the implementation of and enterprise automated testing framework,
• Provide feedback on strategy and lead work area in testing approach,
• Development and maintain of testing and quality assurance documentation,
• Leveraging relationships to provide positive outcomes for the NDIA,
• As a senior member of the team, possess the ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Lead a team of automation and testing engineers,
• Foster a positive culture within the Application Platforms team aligned with Agency values; and
• Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
