Tender Description
Mooral Bridge (20290139) & Sheathers Bridge (20290160) Construction, including road approaches.
The work to be carried out under the Contract includes all temporary and permanent works associated with the following:
• The construction of a one-lane bridge over Mooral Creek to replace the existing No. 6 bridge on Mooral Creek Rd, Mooral Creek, plus a side-track and road approaches. Deck beams to be supplied by Contractor.
• The construction of a one-lane bridge over Stewarts River to replace the existing Sheathers bridge on Hannam Vale Rd, Hannam Vale and road approaches. Deck beams are provided by MCC.
• Removal of the temporary steel deck and use in the side-track, then demolition of the existing No. 6 bridge on Mooral Creek Road over Mooral Creek.
• Removal of the temporary steel deck and demolition of the existing Sheathers bridge on Hannam Vale Road over Stewarts River. A detour will be in place so a side-track is not required.
