Tender Description
Overview
Forbes Shire Council is seeking tenders from suitably qualified and experienced parties for the provision of Sprayed Sealing Services to assist Council in the scheduled maintenance of its road assets.
Scope
The successful tenderer will be responsible for:
- Assessment of existing pavement
- Design of bituminous surfacing in accordance with the specifications
- Supply and spray of primer and primer binder, including preparation of surfaces
- Supply and spray of binder, cutback bitumen
- Supply and spray of binder, polymer modified
- Supply, incorporation and supply of cutter oil in primer, primer binder and/or binder
- Supply and pre-coat of aggregate
- Application and spreading of aggregate
- Rolling and incorporation of aggregate
- Recovery of longitudinal line marking, including protection of raised pavement markers and installation of temporary lane and pavement markers
- Control of traffic and erection of signposting
Contractor Requirements
- Tenderers must be able to demonstrate that they have the necessary skills, resources, experience and accreditations to fulfil the tender requirements
