Whitsunday Regional Council (Council) is seeking a venue booking solution including ongoing updates and support services. The new booking solution will allow Council’s officers to manage bookings in not only the Proserpine Entertainment Centre (PEC), but also external venues such as Council’s parklands and function centres across the Whitsunday Region.
The Proserpine Entertainment Centre is currently being rebuilt after suffering catastrophic damage during Cyclone Debbie in 2017. The previous building has been demolished and construction is well underway to be completed by the end of 2021.
The newly constructed facility will feature a retractable seating bank with a capacity of 380 and flat floor capacity of approximately 500, this versatile performance space will host events and performances of many different types and of different scales, servicing the wider Whitsunday community.
