This Tender is invited by the Issuer.

⁠⁠⁠The Strategic Policy and Partnerships Branch is responsible for establishing and managing Whole-of-Australian-Government (WoAG) coordinated ICT procurement and panel arrangements. The WoAG arrangements include Telecommunications, Data Centres, ICT Hardware, Cloud Services, SAP, Oracle, AWS, IBM, and the Microsoft Volume Sourcing Arrangements.

We are looking for a experienced procurement professionals to provide project management and negotiation support and specialised technical, commercial and contractual advice to support and assist with upcoming negotiations. They will be responsible for supporting negotiations with suppliers at a whole-of-government level, managing stakeholder relationships, and representing the DTA with Commonwealth Agencies throughout the negotiation process. They will develop and maintain relevant negotiation documentation and manage schedules in line with key deadlines. They will provide technical expertise to optimise software licensing and support requirements and cloud services. They will draft regular status updates for Senior Executive and the Minister’s Office when required.

Role specific tasks/responsibilities
In supporting the negotiations you will:
• Support and provide direction to the team, ensuring that all tasks set align with strategic objectives
• Communicate expected outcomes and lead the team in a positive and flexible manner through change and uncertainty
• Build and manage the governance arrangements and secretariat support for a range of WoAG procurement processes, including the development of and operation of new and updated arrangements
• Establish clear plans and timeframes for project implementation and proactively monitor progress, identifying risks and issues before they impact the project
• Proactively build and sustain mutually beneficial relationships with a network of key stakeholders internally and externally
• Undertake comprehensive analysis and draw accurate conclusions based on evidence that will allow you and your team to anticipate and respond to internal and external client needs
• Provide timely and expert procurement and contract management advice to Senior Management and the Minister’s Office as necessary
