Box Hill Institute (BHI) invites you to submit a Tender for the design and construction of a suitable replacement air-cooled chiller which is required at our Elgar campus, details of which along with conditions of participation in the Tender are provided within this Request for Tender (RFT) document.

Through this RFT process, BHI is seeking bids from suitably qualified organisations to undertake replacement of an air cooled chiller located at roof level serving Building E8 at Box Hill Institute Elgar Road campus.

The project is to be undertaken as a fixed price Design and Construct turnkey project and the successful contractor is responsible for all associated works under a Principal/Head Contract arrangement.

The technical objective of the project is as follows:

• Replacement of existing chiller and associated chilled water pump.
• Electrical supply alterations to serve replacement chiller.
• Controls alterations and upgrade to serve chiller plant
• Integration of new controls to existing site Building Management & Controls System (BMCS)

Note: Attachment 2 - Proposed Form of Agreement will be uploaded separately. Proposed Agreement will be of a Design and Construct Works type.
