This Tender is invited by the Issuer.
The Senior Business Analyst should have demonstrated proficiency in a wide range of business analysis skills and techniques. They will have several years of experience as a BA and be able to plan, supervise or lead where necessary.
Core skills include the ability to:
• Select and apply BA skills and techniques most suited to a given situation
• Lead the collaboration and engagement between all project stakeholders, including leading and facilitating workshops;
• Work independently in complex situations with a pragmatic approach to allocated work demonstrating commitment to project outcomes;
• Apply and guide the project on the adoption of the Australian government’s Digital Service Standard (DSS), service design and delivery process where necessary; and
• Produce relevant architecture and analysis documentation applicable to delivering a digital service and business outcomes (which may include user services and designs, user requirements, KPIs and performance metrics, business processes and rules).
Part of the work includes contributing to BA Centre operations, such as
• Supporting strategic business engagement and project initiation;
• Pre-project analysis;
• Project change management;
• Contributing to BA capability uplift; and
• Progress the department’s ICT strategy and Enterprise Architecture.
