Miller’s Homestead and Gardens Tenancy 2021

⁠⁠⁠Knox City Council (Council) is seeking Expressions of Interest from community and not for profit organisations to undertake a tenancy arrangement at Miller’s Homestead and Gardens, one of three heritage listed properties owned by Council.

The tenancy involves the occupation of the site, and the delivery of programs, services, events and activities that support Council’s vision for the future use of the venue as a “Community Arts and History Centre” through proactive and collaborative programming.

The Expression of Interest is for tenancy at the venue for a 12-month pilot period, with the option for a further four years extension. A Community Licence Agreement will be developed with the selected tenant, and a community tenancy fee of $210 applied annually, reviewed in accordance with Council’s adopted Fees and Charges.

Essential Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible to submit an EOI for Miller’s Homestead tenancy, you must satisfy all of the following:

• Be a Not-for Profit or Incorporated Community Group
• Declare No Conflict of Interest within your application
• Submit the online EOI Application by due date including all required document uploads:
- Incorporated NFP Statement
- Certificate of Currently Public Liability Insurance (min. $20million)
- Latest Annual Report including audited financial
