Selwyn District Council (Council) has the responsibility of 400 kaimahi (staff) operating across multiple locations managing a wide range of operational activities. At Council we are focusing on ensuring our kaimahi can work well and live better. In doing this we need to understand the risks our operations have and be dynamic in our response. The ability to effectively learn from events and look for opportunities to reduce risk and create intuitive and fast means of reporting H & S challenges is essential.
Council is seeking proposals for a Health & Safety Learning system to manage and support its legislative responsibilities of those directly or indirectly involved with operational activities.
The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to identify a company with the experience and resources to effectively provide a centralised solution answering the Council's needs.
The Submitter must be able to demonstrate active use of its solution, deliver ongoing solution support and prove an on-going product development.
This document outlines the context within which the selected solution will be implemented, the format for responses to this RFP, and the Council's identified requirements.
