Tender Description
The Principal Consultant (Architect), in consultation with the Victorian Health Building Authority and its consultants and stakeholders will lead and deliver the Schematic Design, Design Development and Tender Documentation phases of the project. Planning will include reviews of prior planning undertaken and an additional workstream to meet the RCVMHS recommendations.
The Principal Consultant will be required to provide an experienced and capable multidisciplinary team. This team will generally include, but not limited to providing services for the following disciplines:
- architectural design
- urban design
- clinical health planning
- lived experience co-design facilitator (guidance and oversight by Forensicare)
- DDA / access consultant (to be engaged as a specialist sub-consultant unless the Architect has specialist in-house capability)
- landscape design
- logistics
- town planning
- land surveying consultancy services
- signage and wayfinding
- security specialist subcontractor (architectural and operations focus)
- hazardous materials
- acoustics
- art consultant, and
- heritage consultant.
