Tender Description
The intent of this tender is to compile a list of “Approved Suppliers” offering specific equipment/services (Truck Haulage and the wet and dry hire of Plant and Equipment) to Council, at certain fixed prices for the stated period to perform planned and responsive maintenance services and minor capital works on Council sites. This tender comprises two parts:
Option A – Wet Hire of trucks and Wet and Dry hire of Plant and equipment
Option B – Byron Resource Recovery Centre (BRRC) specific plant requirements
Council has included the provision of several types of equipment in this tender. Registrants are not required to complete pricing for both Options A and B, but rather to only complete the relevant sections in Part B3 Price – Schedule of Rates
Registrants are required to quote FIXED rates for the range of equipment available. No allowance will be made for price variations during the term of the contract
If the Tender Documents indicate that the Tenderer may lodge a Tender in respect of any Option A or B it must:
(a) Clearly state which options or parts of the requirements are included in the Tender; and
(b) Compile its Tender so that the information pertaining to each option or part is clearly differentiated.
Council will establish a register of a broad range and fit for purpose plant and equipment from approved contractors with competent operators (Wet Hire) to fulfil works as required with a high focus on environmental and safety compliance.
