Colac Otway Shire and specifically the City Deals team is seeking a consultant to submit a tender to produce detailed design and engineering drawings, building services and technical specifications for inclusion into construction tender documentation for this project. 

The consultant shall have strong demonstrated project experience in coastal, geotechnical, structural, civil consulting as well as experience and understanding of Aboriginal cultural heritage, European heritage, ecological and environmental requirements.

*note for those suppliers intending to submit a response.  

Please allow sufficient time to complete the loading of your submission via the eProcure portal before the tender close date and time, noting that large files may take some time to load.  Failure to complete your submission by the tender close time will result in being shut out of  the portal.  Late submissions will not be accepted unless it can be proven that exceptional circumstances prevented the timely upload of your response.

Please note that there are templates that need to be completed as part of the online form. A pricing schedule also needs to be completed.  This can be loaded against section 6 of the online form.  It is important for evaluation purposes that pricing is not included in any part of your submission other than section 6.

Local Jobs First – Requirements for Suppliers/Bidders – COS City Deal Projects

• All City Deal Projects are fully funded by the Australian Government as part of the Geelong City Deal which includes Local Jobs First (LJF) requirements as part of all supplier Tender submissions.

• To meet LJF obligations you will need to contact the ICN (Industry Capability Network) Team to register and gain access to the VCM (Victorian Management Centre) Portal (E: info@icnvic.gov.au or P: (03) 9864 6700).

• Please also see the attached VCM Supplier User Guide to assist in using the portal once registered ie how to search for a Tender and how to create the required LIDP (Local Industry Development Plan).

• The size of the project will determine whether a long or short form LIDP is required, which will be advised by the ICN Team.
