Tender Description
Cairns Regional Council (Council) is seeking submissions from a variety of suitable suppliers for the provision of goods and products maintained by Council's Stores business unit. Stores aims to purchase and supply items that Council uses on a regular basis thereby realising savings from bulk purchasing.
The purpose of establishing this ROPS for Stores Inventory and Supplies is to achieve efficiencies in procurement and administrative processes associated with a high volume of trade and purchasing requirements, enabling Council officers to meet operational needs by engaging suitable suppliers directly from the ROPS.
Enquiries: Tender enquiries, questions or clarifications should be directed via the online forum. Cairns Regional Council officers are unable to respond to verbal enquiries in relation to the tender. The forum will close five days prior to the closing time and date. Please ensure that all questions, information requests and clarifications are posted prior to this time.
We strongly recommend that you begin uploading your tender submission files at least two (2) hours BEFORE the tender closing time.
Closing Time and Date: The tender closes at 4:30 PM, Tuesday 22 November 2022 2022. Submissions must be fully received by this time. Late, verbal or emailed tenders may not be accepted and will be subject to Council's sole discretion.
Submissions will not be opened publicly. The lowest or any tender may not necessarily be accepted.
Council reserve the right to change the specifications prior to making a decision on the submissions received in response to this invitation.
Council may invite all Respondents to change their submission to take into account any change in the tender specifications.
Tenders are to remain valid for a period of 120 days from the Closing Time.
