An exciting opportunity is available to be part of an award-winning multi-year initiative to modernise IP Australia’s core business systems.
At IP Australia you will play an important role in the Patents Modernisation Initiative which is at the forefront of digital transformation through agile delivery and DevOps approaches.
This role will work within multi-discipline delivery teams to build and integrate new Patent processing features for business and support these new capabilities as they are released.
We require an experienced, pro-active and versatile Technical Delivery Manager, to deliver Data platforms for large scale business applications. The candidate will have a strong technical background in data related services (ETL/DBA/Data Analyst) and will have deep understanding of cloud, in particular AWS and managed data base services.
The Technical Delivery Manager will be responsible for:
- Working with the Project Manager, Solution Architect and internal SMEs to co-ordinate and manage the technical implementation for the project’s data platforms
- Delivering secure systems that align to IP Australia’s reference architecture.
- Contributing to the leadership and technical direction of the project
- Working with project managers and product owner to ensure delivery of the product backlog
- Facilitate agile planning and delivery practices/ceremonies
- Manage the day to day delivery for the data platform project
