Tender Description

⁠⁠⁠The Junior Project Manager will primarily be engaged for the Voter Verification Study (Electoral Integrity measure), being delivered by Delivery & Support Branch.

The study will investigate international and jurisdictional approaches to voter verification and electoral fraud.

The AEC will conduct desktop research and provide a paper outlining options for Government consideration and direction.

Key Position Responsibilities
• Contribute to and manage a detailed Project Plan that clearly defines scope and schedule key milestones, work streams and activities
• In conjunction with Project Manager, assist with delivery of the project according to this plan and approved schedules
• Develop project documentation such as issues, risks and reporting as required
• Manage project governance requirements as aligned to the overall Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) requirements
• Ensure the project meets all reporting, governance and documentation expectations based on EPMO, Australian National Audit Office and Gateway requirements
• Work with key project resources and stakeholders to prepare reports on project progress as well as escalating risks and issues where required to ensure full transparency
• Identify requirements for project resources to execute deliverables as required
• Facilitate, support and monitor stakeholder engagement across all work streams
• Coordinate multiple work streams with internal stakeholders and stakeholders to drive project milestones
• Maintain key internal and external relationships, including liaising with stakeholders on policy, project or operational issues
• Action relevant items and respond to stakeholder needs and expectations
• Perform additional duties or assume responsibility of functions across Delivery & Support Branch as directed from time to time

Resource Requirements
Full-time engagement (up to 40 hours a week unless approved otherwise in writing by the Agency) with work to be completed on site with Agency personnel.

Qualification, Skills and Experience
Mandatory Skills
• 3+ years Project Management and Coordination experience
• Demonstrable experience in managing and tracking project schedules and dependency management
• Previous experience with project administration activities in Federal Government

Desirable Skills
• Experience with financial management systems
