Tamworth Regional Council (TRC) are seeking the services of a suitably qualified, experienced Supplier to design and deliver two new kiosk buildings to Forest Road Landfill.
One unit will be used as a gatehouse for weighbridge operations to manage customers entering and exiting site (Kiosk 1).
The second unit will be placed at the Small Vehicle Transfer Station (SVTS) to be used for staff as a small office and storage space (Kiosk 2).
The Site is owned and managed by TRC and has been in operation since 1973. The Site is licensed for the acceptance, recovery and disposal of waste (including general solid waste, putrescible and non-putrescible, asbestos and recyclables) and green waste composting. The Site operates seven days a week and receives waste from the community, commercial operators, and rural waste transfer stations.
Council is in the process of installing two additional weighbridges to complement the existing onsite weighbridge. This upgrade will increase transaction time and safety for facility users.
