Tender Description
Dampier Salt currently operate diesel driven 6" Flow Serve skid mounted pumps in their operation and require these to be permanently mounted into a custom designed trailer mounted arrangement.
The scope requires the contractor to remove the company supplied diesel driven 6" Flow Serve arrangement from the skid (approximate weight of 1.3T) into a trailer. The contractor will be responsible to design, modify or fabricate a rated trailer suitable to accommodate the pump arrangement.
The trailer duties will be restricted to the mining lease and off highway conditions and is not intended for public roads. The operating conditions will be in a salt environment exposed to corrosive conditions.
Consideration into operational and maintenance ergonomics, hydrocarbon spill containment and total loaded trailer mass to be towed within the operational capacity of a Toyota 4x4 Hilux or similar.
The scope may include:
- Incorporation of fully bunded diesel fuel tank, carry racks and storage compartments
- Fabrication and welding additional structural supports
- Surface preparation and treatment as per Dampier Salt AO-SPE-062 Surface Treatment Specifications
- Pre-assembly and testing for site application
- Packaging, marking and transport to site
- Full MDR and design signoff
