Tender Description
The Aotearoa NZ Paediatrics & Child Health Division (PCHD) Committee seeks members who have been PCHD Fellows for less than 7 years for the position of New Fellow.
The Committee, reporting to the Aotearoa NZ Committee and the Paediatrics & Child Health Division Council, works to advance the area of Paediatrics & Child Health in relation to:
- education, training and assessment of future paediatricians
- training and continuing professional development
- policy and advocacy
- research
- workforce
The applicant must:
- be a PCHD Fellow
- have gained Fellowship within the last 7 years
Essential attributes
- attitudes of cooperation, positivity, and behaviours demonstrating high ethical standards
- acknowledges Te Tiriti ō Waitangi/The Treaty of Waitangi and the foundation principles of bicultural partnership, participation, and protection it guarantees
Members are appointed for a 2-year term.
The Committee usually holds 1 kanohi ki te kanohi (face-to-face) meeting, and up to 3 videoconferences a year. Due to COVID-19 all meetings are likely to be via videoconference.
