EOI - The Granville Centre - Cafe and Hall Management/Caterer

⁠⁠⁠Cumberland City Council (Council), in response to RFx107, is seeking submissions from appropriately qualified and experienced operators to submit a Expression of Interest to secure a 5+ 5-year lease for the café and a 1 year hiring management agreement of Main Hall, Caterer & Commercial Kitchen located at the Granville Centre.

The Granville Centre is Council’s largest community centre facility at over 2000m2 across two floors, and is designed to be a vibrant meeting place of community activity supported by the co-location of Council services and programs.

Your submission can be a separate part or combination of the following:

Part A- Lease the Café at 1 Memorial Drive, Granville, NSW 2142

and/or

Part B – Main Hall Management, Caterer and Commercial Kitchens

Interested Respondents are required to provide the information requested and specified in the schedules. Please provide all information complete and in full to facilitate Council’s assessment in relation to this opportunity.

Council is committed to a balance between its preferred lease/licence terms, market conditions and the objectives/ideas of the proponents. Council may require additional information from shortlisted respondents before any advanced lease negotiations.

All respondents are required to attend the mandatory pre-tender briefing / inspection.

Site Inspection will be held on the Thursday 25th March 2021 onsite at 1 Memorial Drive, Granville at 11.30AM

All Respondents are to register on or before Tuesday 23rd March 2021 before 2pm advising Company and name of attendees (Limit 2 per organisation) by emailing tendering@cumberland.nsw.gov.au

Should the respondent fail to attend, its tender will not be considered.

The Expression of Interest (EOI) forms the first part of a two stage selective tender process for the Project. Following the evaluation of Proponents, Council may, at its sole discretion, request shortlisted Proponents to submit a Request for Tender.
