Tender Description
ABOUT THE TENDER: Council is seeking an experienced and qualified contractor to carry out the construction of the Landcare and Sustainable Living Resource Centre at Booragul.
The purpose of the facility is to enable opportunities for the community to engage in Landcare, environmental and sustainable living programs offered by Council through the provision of a gathering space for engagement and recognition events, education, training, information as well as provision for administrative and operational support. The facility will also accommodate operational staff that undertake Bush Regeneration projects on Landcare and other natural asset sites.
The facility will provide a new resource centre and office, community meeting room, amenities and carparking to support both Landcare's operational needs as well as a flexible meeting and events space for the community and Council.
BRIEFING SESSION: Wednesday 17 March 2021 at 9.00am AEDT, On-site 80 Toronto Road Booragul NSW 2284. Tenderers are encouraged to attend the Briefing. Tenderers are encouraged to utilise the Tenderlink Online Forum should RFT clarification or further information be required.
REGISTRATION: Tender documents may be obtained by registering on the e-tendering portal , for a cost of $195.90.
A hard copy of the documents may be obtained at Customer Service Centre Ground Floor, 126-138 Main Road, Speers Point at a cost of $246.25.
ENQUIRIES: Tender enquiries should be directed to Natalie Nissen, the Project Officer via the online forum. Completed responses can be submitted via the electronic tender box, by facsimile transmission to (02) 4958 7257, or in a sealed envelope. The envelope is to be endorsed with the Tender number, title, and closing date and can be mailed or placed in the Tender Box located in Councils Administration Building, Ground Floor, 126-138 Main Road, Speers Point by the nominated time and date.
TENDERERS TO NOTE: In the preparation and submission of the tender and without limiting the Tenderers obligations, the Tenderer shall submit a tender which includes all Schedules including the Tenderers Declaration Schedule and any other declaration required completely filled in and signed, together with any other documents, information and details necessary to make the tender complete. The tenderer shall not submit a tender without a firm intention to proceed nor engage in any form of collusive practice not directly or indirectly canvass support from an elected member or employee of Council at any time.
