Tender Description
Local artists are being given the opportunity for a " Pop-up Residency" in the local retail precinct. The program of residencies will be in empty shops in the main retail precinct of Glen Innes where permission is granted from relevant landlords. These residencies will be an opportunity for artists to develop their creative work, sell their creative work, hold workshops and other activations while connecting with the community and visitors.The residencies will be for a four (4) week period between May and July depending on the availability of premises. The artist(s) selected for residencies will receive a $1,000 award and all expenses for the premises paid during the four (4) week period.
EOI's are now open and submissions close at 5.00pm on Wednesday, 31 March 2021. Applications will be assessed by the Public Art Group of Council. Artists will be informed of outcomes by 5.00pm on Friday, 9 April 2021.
