Tender Description
The aim of the program is to support school communities (financially and otherwise) to implement environmental initiatives in a project-based way.
Pre-schools, childcare centres, primary and high schools can develop, implement, review and celebrate school-based projects.
Projects can be on plastic waste, energy, water, climate change, biodiversity... the possibilities are endless!
In 2021, schools have three grant streams in which they are eligible to apply.
Firstly, projects which focus on waste-free or plastic-free canteens will be prioritised, and are worth up to $6000.
Secondly, other grant projects will be eligible for up to $3,000. For schools wanting to implement a project which is not related to plastic or waste-free canteens are still welcome to apply although funding is competitive, and the program itself is capped at $12,000 per financial year.
Thirdly, we are also very pleased to announce the Solar My School program has been added as the third grant stream.
Schools are eligible to apply for a grant project, and the Solar my School program in the same year.
Projects must be completed by the end of the school year in 2021.
