Tender Description
EOIs are sought from practicing artists/creative professionals for a fantastic place making artwork opportunity in the heart of Elsternwick. Council have secured a site for a large-scale artwork to be installed along Glen Huntly Road, Elsternwick on the rail bridge wall (opposite Elsternwick Station).
Council is seeking an artist/creative professional who, through the work can:
- respond to, and reflect the local community and area; and
- create a narrative flow through engaging visuals.
This project will contribute to the development of Elsternwick as a cultural hub as well as reducing graffiti and beautifying the area. After such success with our Brightening Bentleigh murals, Council is excited to see this space in Elsternwick transform.
