Tender Description
Council is inviting submissions for the provision of waste services and public place amenity services at various events held within Alpine Shire. The specific requirements will vary for different events and festivals. The range of works require will include:
- collection and transportation of events waste and commingled bins, event equipment & signage from Council depot/s to event location, placement of bins according to event waste management plan, servicing of bins throughout event to an agreed schedule, transportation and disposal of collected waste and recyclables to designated drop off point/Council transfer station, event bin audits, collection and return of event bins, event equipment & signage to Council depot/s, cleaning of event bins,
- and maintain all public amenities in a clean and hygienic condition and ensure they are presented in this way to all users, including adequately stocked with appropriate consumables.
NB Events are usually held on weekends and public holidays. Access for placement of bins may be out of normal working hours.
