Ashburton District Councils is requesting proposals for Waste and Water Sustainability Education Services 2021-2026. The project consists of the following elements.

These are:

• Community Education in Waste management and minimisation, water conservation and waste water education
• Operation and Maintenance of Councils Waste Education Classroom
• Waste management and minimisation at Public Events
• Supporting Council's participation in Nationwide campaigns and programs
• Kerbside Recycling Bin Auditing

Ashburton District Council is looking to work with a specialist waste minimisation education business to deliver support for Councils investment in its waste management and minimisation, water supply and waste water services in the Ashburton District. This is to be provided through the delivery of a comprehensive community education programme.

We are looking for a business with a strong track record in delivering these types education programs in schools and communities to improve environmental outcomes for the Ashburton District.

This Request for Tender (RFT) is limited to the Waste and Water Sustainability Education. The process is being run as an Open tender. The contract term is for an initial three year term with a discretionary extension period of two plus two years (3+2+2). A maximum term of contract of seven years (7).

Working on this project is a high profile opportunity for the successful vendor to be involved with.
