Ballarat Health Services and the Grampians Region are seeking to purchase a Clinical Dictation and Transcription Solution that will offer a ‘state of the art’ system that will integrate with and form a part of the digital clinical record (BOSSnet), used across the Grampians Region.

Through the procurement of a Clinical Dictation and Transcription Service the following will be achieved for participating Health Services;

The provision of software specifically designed for clinical transcription that is also capable of addressing the following specific requirements:

• Ability to dictate, record and produce accurate digital documentation
• Ability to integrate, place and display, as user defined into the clinical records and diagnostic solutions
• Ability to share documents via secure messaging and transmission by fax and produce a printed format
• Ability to upload to the My Health Record
• Ability to create templates for use at BHS and GRHA Agencies
• Ability to provide breakdown of invoicing for multiple departments/agencies by cost centres
• Allow priority assignment by clinicians and typing administrative staff at time of dictation or after
• Ability to add additional authenticator for clinical review of transcriptions
• Provide the capability for voice recognition within clinical transcription and within the clinical information solutions
• Ability to provide transcription of an urgent (STAT) dictation within an hour of receiving dictation
