Tender Description
Forestry Corporation of NSW (Principal) intends to engage the services of a suitably experienced and competent Contractor for the design and construction of a single lane bridge located north of Lidsdale, NSW crossing the Coxs River (see attached locality map with grid references).
This new bridge will be a 10m (clear span) single lane width and will replace the burnt bridge that has been removed after the 2020 bush fires. Design speed to be 20km/hr. Daily traffic movements is approximately up to 150 per day. It is expected that the proposed designed bridge will be of a concrete structure with either concrete or steel beams / girders that complies with the relevant AS5100 standard and SM1600 loading and appropriate pier design to meet loading requirement and applicable standards.
