Tender Description
The works are to be carried out in accordance with Section E – Specifications and include undertaking Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) investigations within nominated areas of each cemetery. The works are to include:
• Supply of all labour, plant and equipment required to undertake GPR surveys.
• Completion of GPR scanning to identify and map subsurface anomalies consistent with potential burial sites, coffin remains, voids, or any other unnatural disturbances.
• Detection and reporting of subsurface features to a minimum depth of 2.1 metres (or greater where achievable), including identification of any constraints affecting depth penetration.
• Provision of accurate spatial data for all identified anomalies, including GPS coordinates (using WGS84 geocentric datum) and integration with Council Intramap Spatial Data Software.
• Marking or delineation of identified anomalies on site to assist with interpretation and future burial planning. NOTE: Due to possibility of existing grave sites minimal to no ground disturbance is to be carried out.
• Provision of a comprehensive report at the completion of the program, including survey methodology and equipment used, plans/maps showing surveyed areas and identified anomalies, interpretation of findings, including confidence levels of any findings.
• The proposed equipment, methodology, data outputs, and reporting format are to be submitted to Council for approval prior to commencement of works.
