Darwin - Provision of Grounds Maintenance in Parliamentary Precinct for a Period of 36 Months

The Services to be provided under this contract include, but may not be limited to:

• Litter control including the sweeping/vacuuming of car parking areas, roadways and paths within the premises and the clearing of gutters and drains;
• Mowing and edge trimming of established grassed areas;
• Weed control for entire premises;
• Pruning of shrubs and trees to maintain a safe and tidy premises;
• Watering of all lawn areas, trees, garden beds and shrubberies within the premises;
• Inspection and reporting on automatic irrigation systems
• Fertilising of all grassed areas, garden beds and shrubberies;
• Daily checking and control of all horticultural pests and diseases;
• Replacement of damaged plants;
• Identification and control of insects and fungal pests infestations; and
• Ensure that the terrace lawn is of high quality visible turf area at all times.

The Contractor is expected to have had considerable experience in providing similar services and to be able to demonstrate they have managed contracts of similar nature, scope and size.
