Tender Description

Council is proposing to replace the bridge in Main Street over Blackburn Creek, Blackburn. A structural assessment has determined that the current bridge is beyond maintenance and needs to be replaced.

 
The works will include but not limited to the following:
  •  Coordinating services to be re-located or protected: gas, Telstra, water and power
  •  Stormwater drainage works
  •  Project planning and traffic management
  •  Site set up and demolition of existing bridge
  •  Construction of bored piers
  •  Precast beams to be shop drawn, manufactured, delivered and erected
  •  Bridge barriers to be shop drawn, manufactured, delivered and erected
  •  Casting of bridge deck
  •  Run on slabs
  •  Barriers/paths/beaching
  •  Landscaping and clean-up
