In 2019, under our Enterprise Model, we successfully secured Construction Partners for the delivery of infrastructure through to 2029. Now, we are looking to align our Design Partners with the model.
Per our notice in February, we will undertake an open-market procurement process to select our Design Partners.
Due to COVID-19 the indicative timings have been protracted. The revised timings Watercare is committed to meeting are:
Early June: Market briefings
Late June: Pre-RFP briefings
July: RFP issued
Aug: Preferred participants identified
September/October: Selection workshops
November: Selection of partners
December: Transition period
January: Go-live with new contractual arrangements in place before the end of January 2022.
