ABOUT CAMPBELLTOWN
Campbelltown City: A city of Ambition, Opportunity and Innovation.
Campbelltown City is a designated strategic centre and is just 53kms from the Sydney CBD, covering an area of 312 km2.
The City is home to more than 160,000 people with the population expected to reach 270,000 by 2031, and is a significant centre for the Macarthur region, providing a broad range of services and facilities including a major hospital, university, two TAFE colleges, arts centre, public transport, large shopping centres and a growing commercial and industrial sector.
Our location on the F5 provides residents and visitors with easy access to the wider Sydney metropolitan area. Residents enjoy this proximity while valuing the natural environment surrounding the city, including the Georges River, Scenic Hills, extensive bushland and rural lands.
Council's principal service centre is located at the Civic Centre in Queen Street, Campbelltown.
SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS
Council requires a suitably experienced consultant to assist in the collection and analysis of big data to provide targeted insights on place-use within the Reimagining Campbelltown City Centre Master Plan area, and to support the evaluation of place-based interventions and detailed design and planning.
It is not expected that any consultancy should attempt to cover all specified insights. Council may elect to split the total budget to award contracts to multiple consultants.
SCHEDULE
Contract award: Late February / early March 2021
Services to commence: March 2021
Practical completion: 12 months from the commencement of contract
