Tender Description
Suburban Rail Loop Authority, on behalf of the Victorian Government, invites Interested Parties to register interest in an upcoming procurement process for the Suburban Rail Loop Power Connection Works.
Suburban Rail Loop is a city and State-shaping project that will transform Victoria's public transport system and revitalise suburbs across Melbourne. The 90-kilometre Suburban Rail Loop will link every major rail line from the Frankston line to the Werribee line, via the airport, better connecting Victorians to jobs, retail, education, health services and each other. Suburban Rail Loop will be delivered in stages over several decades, with Stage One between Cheltenham and Box Hill to be delivered first.
The Power Connection Works comprise works required to connect to and supply power from the Victorian electricity system for the construction and operation phases of the Suburban Rail Loop.
The State intends to conduct a Registration of Interest process to: identify Pre-Qualified Participants to participate in a Request for Proposal phase in respect of the Power Connection Works; and seek feedback from the market on the proposed approach to procuring and delivering the Power Connection Works.
Interested Parties (with a bona-fide interest in delivering the Power Connection Works) which complete and submit a compliant Probity and Process Deed will be provided with the Invitation to Register Interest and will be able to submit Registration Documents.
The following dates apply to the procurement process:
Invitation to Register Interest release (via the SRLA Procurement Inbox) – 27 January 2021
