Tender Description
The Deparment of Jobs, Precincts & Regions (DJPR) drives economic development and job creation across Victoria, incorporating investment attraction and facilitation, trade, agriculture, creative industries, and resources.
DJPR requires expert service providers to undertake rapid reviews of energy usage, usage patterns and equipment of farms that are affected by rising gas, electricity and diesel prices, and provide easy to understand recommendations for primary producers to implement options to become sustainable energy users. Primary producers can use the energy assessment report to apply for a grant to support implementation of receommended options.
The purpose of this tender is to create a Panel of Energy Assessors (the Panel) with a proven record of conducting Type 1 and/or Type 2 energy assessments and with experience in agricultural businesses across different production systems (e.g. horticulture, dairy, cropping, piggeries, etc.).
Energy assessors appointed to the Panel will undertake a limited range of rapid energy assessment services for the Department on an as needs basis.
