Tender Description
Due to a resignation, Nambucca Shire Council is seeking expressions of interest from people or organisations keen to be a part of its Clean Energy Advisory Committee. The purpose of the Committee is to provide advice and recommendations to Council in respect to the following:
• the status and implementation of Council’s Climate Change Adaptation Plan
• activities related to Council's membership within the Sustainability Advantage Program
• sustainable management of Council assets
• opportunities for investment in green/sustainable enterprises
• capacity building in the community and
• external funding applications/projects and programs related to sustainability.
The Council is seeking expressions of interest from people and organisations with an interest and/or experience in renewable energy and related issues, including but not limited to members of the public, environmental organisations, chambers of commerce, local businesses and the energy industry.
