Esplanade Dining Precinct Public Art Project

⁠⁠⁠Cairns Regional Council is inviting submissions from suitably qualified and experienced Artists for up to three new public artwork opportunities, and one additional public artwork opportunity. The submission for concept development quotation will be stage one of four project stages. The suite of artworks will be a major nationally recognised public art commission, positioning the project as a key statement within the proposed new tropical landscaping and rejuvenated redevelopment of the Esplanade Dining Precinct.

Enquiries: Tender enquiries, questions or clarifications should be directed via the online forum. Cairns Regional Council officers are unable to respond to verbal enquiries in relation to the tender. The forum will close three days prior to the closing time and date. Please ensure that all questions, information requests and clarifications are posted prior to this time.

Lodgement of Submissions: Completed responses must be lodged by uploading the submission electronically using the response forms within the tender documentation.

We strongly recommend that you begin uploading your tender submission files at least two (2) hours BEFORE the tender closing time.

Submissions will not be opened publicly. The lowest or any tender may not necessarily be accepted.

Council reserve the right to change the specifications prior to making a decision on the submissions received in response to this invitation.
Council may invite all Respondents to change their submission to take into account any change in the tender specifications.
Tenders are to remain valid for a period of 90 days from the Closing Time.
