Tender Description
The works scope includes the provision of skip bins, wheelie bins and front lift bins (a range of sizes) for the following waste types generated from the Shepparton Line Upgrade Project:
- Office waste
- Construction and demolition (C&D) waste
- General waste to landfill
The Project has diversion from landfill requirements as per below to which the waste service provider would need to contribute to meeting these diversions from landfill percentages:
- Office waste - 60% of total volume to be diverted from landfill
- C&D - 90% of total volume to be diverted from landfill
- Clean spoil - <100% of total volume to be diverted from landfill
The waste services and requirements mentioned above will need to be provided for the project boundary which includes Donnybrook Railway Station to Shepparton. The project boundary is predominantly within the Shepparton rail corridor. The waste services will include providing specific waste receptacles/skips for specific waste such as steel, timber or concrete. The waste service provider would need to provide monthly waste reports showing the percentage of waste diverted from landfill. The waste service provider is required to work cooperatively with the Project on final destination waste audits.
